Kourtney Kardashian Saved Khloe From Rehab

In Khloe Kardashian new book "Strong Looks Better Naked" she opened up about her past, her life after her dad passed away. Kardashian stated how after her dad passed away she took the loss horrible, which at the time she was 19 years old.

Kardashian stated that

'I didn't turn to drugs, but I certainly drowned my sorrows in drink, and the partying soon got out of hand. I was underage and behaving recklessly in clubs and at private parties.'

Khloe added in her book how the heavy drinking made her pack on pounds.

'During this period, I became aware of how easy it is to become a binge drinker...I see pictures of myself at the time and I was so bloated that I look like I'm 45 years old!"

Kardashian admitted that her sister Kourtney giving her a job at the family store Dash ensured her to not end up in rehab.

'I didn't end up in rehab ... because Kourtney put her foot down and forced me to take control of my life, but I probably came close.' Kardashian stated.

Kardashian avoided rehab but she did get arrested for DUI in 2007. Kardashian was sentenced to 3 years of probation and community service. Kardashian admitted to missing an alcohol treatment, where she was then sentenced to 30 days of jail. Luckily for the overcrowding she was released after a few hours.
