Tom Brady's magnificence on the field has become another part of NFL history. The New England Patriot’s quarterback has become the fourth player to throw 400 touchdowns in his career. With only 18 seconds remaining in the second quarter of Sunday's night 51-17 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, Brady connected with receiver Danny Amendola on a 1-yard strike. The crowd broke into a chant as he was acknowledged on the video board with a message that read “400 touchdown passes!” “We’ve had such great support here over the years.” mentions Brady. “Like I say, I hope we can give them something to cheer about out there. We have great fans, and it was great. It was special.”

Brady’s mindset is just to get the job done, as he reassures that, “I don’t care whether we run it or throw it in, as long as we score points and are winning.”

Coming from a good week of practice and recognizing the team’s effort… “It was a good performance by our offense, a good team win,” states Brady. Brady’s first career touchdown pass came back in October 2001, from a 21-yard strike to Terry Glenn in a 29-26 overtime victory over the San Diego Chargers. Brady’s record still falls short behind Peyton Manning (533), Brett Favre (508) and Dan Marino (420). Drew Brees, who didn’t play Sunday for the Saints because of a shoulder injury, is fifth with 398. Currently, upheld as one of the NFL’s greatest quarterbacks, Brady is just happy that the Patriot’s are 3-0. Let’s see if the Patriot’s can carry the team into another victorious season!
