Karrueche States That She Is Not Friends With Chris Brown

In a recent interview Karrueche Tran discussed how her current relationship is with Chris Brown and how it has open doors for her.

Tran talks about how people only know her because of her past relationship, Tran states that "I used to date him, and now as I am growing into myself and maturing and getting my career together, I am starting to have my own name without having to be associated".

Tran discussed how she blocks negative comments on social media. Tran believes that her relationship with Brown has affected her from getting some gigs.

Tran states that " Negative stuff was being said and being brought up. A lot of people were like she's only famous because of Chris Brown". Tran dicussed how she is no longer in contact with Brown and she also states that " we're not friends or anything like that at this point".

Tran discussed that a lot of people see her as an weak individual because of her past relationship and sometimes people do not want to do business with her. Tran states how it sucks sometimes because she is not weak at all.

It seems like being with Brown has opened up a lot of doors for Tran, but at the time it has hurt her career as well. Tran is slowly becoming her own person which the entertainment world is slowly seeing that. Tran wants people to know she is more than just Chris Brown's ex girlfriend, but that she is a serious actress and model.
